"As long as I can remember, one of my favorite things in the world to do was to find a bookstore, browse the shelves, remove the books I found most interesting on that particular day, find a place to sit down and begin my journey into another place.

Today I am fortunate to be surrounded by books of all sorts, all day. In the evenings, after I close up the shop and dim the lights I still so love to walk the isles, browse the shelves, remove the books I find interesting and decide what I will read next.

In speaking with a frequent customer recently, I was reminded, although I may find a book outstanding and a real page turner, another reader may find the same title slow and unmoving. This page is full of reviews from those of us who work at The Book Nook & Java Shop and a few of our loyal customers who share their insight of books they have enjoyed. The staff at The Book Nook & Java Shop is very eclectic and diverse in regard to what we read. Debra enjoys historical fiction and biographies, while Paul reads american literature and new age,  Erin's  first choice is fiction regarding biology, however not limited to.....Zac prefers fantasy and Surfer Dude appreciates classics, new age along with non-fiction.
